What Isidro Rubio loves most about making music is songwriting. Tired of playing in punk and rock’n’roll bands, he decided to go solo as SanIsidro. He defines his work as Psych-Mediterranean-Folk driven by exuberant instrumentation: flamenco and electric guitars, bass, percussion and brass.
All cast by a voice that reveals a distinct quotidian inner world. With flavors from Tropicalia to Spaghetti, from Sahel to Rebetiko, SanIsidro’s “SAMBORI” belongs to no genre.
