Long live the queers!
'Inventors of the protest party, of underground music and mainstream hits, dancers of the night and poets of resistance. This playlist features queer artists I admire, along with a few allies who love to sing about destruction, or simply about enjoying life, which, in the end, is the same thing.'
No Wall
'This playlist is a journey from the roots to the heavens. Telluric rhythms, ancestral chants, cross-cultural harmonies and suspended time. The union: the ritual air. In this union, there is no wall between convention and originality, between the past and the present.
The playlist's ritualistic feel is inspired by Kae Tempest's words:
“As dark and dense and wet as earth
As vast and bright and sweet as air” '
Enamoradita de esta musiquita
'I’ve put this playlist together with care, knowing there were so many more I could have chosen. But these songs stay with me, they are part of my past and my present. They inspire me, move me. A celebration of music, a celebration of love.'
Desigo Serari
'This playlist evokes the landscapes of an imagined folklore. It conjures impossible, unreal spaces where unfamiliar instruments and voices resonate, as if they’ve been echoing for ages. The playlist flows through serene, nostalgic, and dramatic moments, always maintaining an air of ancestral sobriety.'
Tidying up the kitchen while feeling like a movie star
'It's Sunday morning, and the tower of Tupperware stacked on the counter is waiting for you to tidy it up. Every wall in the kitchen feels like orchestra seating, so it doesn't matter that there are also four plates to wash, two empty pizza boxes, and some oil splattered between the stoves. Roll up your pyjama sleeves and get ready to star in your own musical show. This is the mental scenario I use to bring order to any room in my house. I am a tremendously messy person, but paradoxically, I love tidying up the house with a good playlist. I created this playlist so that everyone can tidy up and clean the kitchen- or whatever else needs to be done.'
Every moment could be the last
'Each song on the playlist, though unique, evokes a sense of nostalgia for something that hasn’t ended, yet feels as if it could fade away at any moment. Played in order, the tracks flow seamlessly, building in energy and emotion. To me, each represents a different kind of ending, yet listeners might find that experimenting with the order creates new and surprising effects.'
