SEGONA RESIDÈNCIA is an exhibition project built around personal collections. Each edition focuses on an invited figure, presenting a selection of works alongside a publication that extends the exhibition.

The first edition presents a selection from the personal collection of Barcelona-based photographer Daniel Riera. Over the years, Riera has assembled a collection of artworks, photographs and objects through personal relationships and everyday encounters, rather than formal collecting criteria. The selection includes works by artists such as Louis Fratino, David Armstrong, Yannis Tsarouchis, José Pérez Ocaña and Margaret Modlin, and reflects the visual references and affinities that have shaped his trajectory.

Rather than presenting the works as individual pieces, the exhibition approaches them as part of a broader visual system, where relationships, contrasts and repetitions are established across the space.

The publication offers a reading of the invited figure within their own space, combining a conversation with photographs of the house and the works as they exist in their domestic environment.
